[He brings Kexing's hand to lay over his chest, his heart beating strongly and steadily. The kiss makes him shudder and he leans forward, practically melting over his soulmate.]

Tomorrow. Shall we embarrass our fellow passengers?

[ He strokes over that strong, steady beat of the heart he loves so fiercely. Kexing hums as he adjusts to support his beloved's weight, claiming another kiss just because before grinning against those soft lips. ]

If they want to watch let them. I don't care.

[The answer makes him chuckles and he presses another kiss to Kexing's lips, proving that, no, he can't resist them. He also knows he is being ridiculous, but haven't they earned a little fun?]

I don't either. [Zishu holds their chests together.] Do you feel that? Mine is like yours.

[ Why bother trying? Kexing smirks then nudges their noses together with a low purr. Then arches against Zishu, feeling how their hearts beat as one. ]

Of course. We're Fated, my A-Xu. Two bodies, one soul.

[Zishu welcomes him, embracing him tighter. He runs his hands greedily over Kexing's back and down to his hips, enjoying him. His soulmate might be fierce and deadly, but he feels perfect in his arms.]

I don't know what I've done to deserve you.

[ Those hands running over his body steady him in ways he can never express in any way other than a soft sigh as he curls into his beloved's arms. ]

Does it matter?

[Maybe their souls are talking, steadying one another, learning how to be whole? Zishu smiles softly and kisses Kexing's temple, always happy to hold the other man.]

No. It doesn't. You're here and that's all that matters.

[ Only whole when together. Kexing happily snuggles close, arms tightening around his soulmate. His reason for living. ]

Wherever you go, I will always follow.

[Hearing those words makes his breath shudder in his lungs and he closes his eyes. When he thought Kexing had died, all of his reason for living had died with him. He doesn't want to feel like that again - and he doesn't want the one he loves most to feel that way either.]

No more pretending to die and I won't do something stupid.

[ He feels that shudder and shifts until he's straddling his beloved's lap, leaning over him with an intent gaze. ]

Any more plans I make, I will tell you. I will live, so you have to stay with me. If you die, I will just find a way to go after you.

[Oh. Zishu swallows hard and runs his hands down Kexing's sides, gazing up at his soulmate in wonder.]

No. Lao Wen, we will live. I love you like this, alive and hot against me.

[ He drapes his arms around his beloved and presses in close before claiming a kiss. Then grins a little against Zishu's lips, wiggling his hips just a bit to tease. ]

I think there are too many clothes for you to really feel how hot I am for you, A-Xu.

[The hot lips and the wiggling shoot heat straight through him. He is certain even the dead can't chill him now! Zishu arches shamelessly, making it clear that he is quite serious about wanting Kexing.]

[ The arching up against him draws a happy moan and he gives that offer serious thought. But eventually sighs and flops over dramatically. ]

You promised me a nice bed, A-Xu~ I'm saving myself for that!

[He grins at the dramatic reaction, capturing his Lao Wen and hugging him snugly. No, sorry, you don't get the option of flopping away from him!]

Are you afraid you'll be carrying our child, Lao Wen?

[ He laughs at being caught so easily by his beloved and happily wraps himself back around Zishu. His cheeks flush but he grins as a thrill runs through him at the very idea. Their child. ]

I want to! I just like nice beds.

[Oh yes, his beloved is silly and Zishu adores that about him. Settling his arms around Kexing's waist, he pretends to look put out.]

We might not manage it on the first try, you know. We'll need to practice.

[ He likes being silly with his A-Xu. He loves hearing those laughs and earning those grins. He smirks at that feigned pout before twisting his expression into one of wide-eyed concern. ]

Are you up for that? You're still healing. Maybe you aren't strong enough to...practice.

[His eyes narrow at the challenge and he smoothly rolls their bodies, pinning Kexing against the sand. He speaks lowly for his lover's ears only:]

My body will do what I tell it. I've had to watch you all this time and not act. You're alive.

[Zishu's voice shakes.]

You're alive.

[ He grins at those narrowing eyes, letting his soulmate move them however he wants. Being pinned under that beautiful body makes him shudder and ache, and his eyes lid at the voice in his ear.

But then it shakes and he arches, offering all of himself. ]

Prove to yourself that I'm alive, A-Xu. I'm yours.

[Zishu recognizes his Lao Wen's kindness immediately - how his beloved presses against him, reminding him to breathe. It just inflames him further and he glances around the beach to make sure they are alone. Then, hands shaking, he unties Kexing's robes just enough so he can slip a hand inside.

To touch...bare skin. He smiles at the first contact, caressing the sinful softness.]

You can keep any blankets. I just want you covering me.

[ Kexing trusts his beloved to make sure they're alone, including their underwater companions staying put. Feeling those hands loosen his robes and then slip inside, he sighs happily. It's nothing to how they'd lain naked together on that comfortable bed, but it's more than they've managed since leaving that city.

He grins and kisses the tip of his soulmate's nose. ]

I'll keep you warm, A-Xu!

[Soon. Soon they can return to wearing nothing and pressing against one another. Until then, Zishu lets his hands wander, admiring his Lao Wen in all of his perfection. He caresses his sides, his chest, his stomach, letting the hot skin guide him. Without saying anything, his fingers declare his love and he smiles at the silly affection.]

Let me keep you warm too.

[ Never soon enough! He's greedy for his soulmate. But for now, these touches will just have to do. And he listens to that declaration of love from gentle fingers, answering just as silently in how he presses into them. ]

You do.

[He presses their lips together, arms moving to cradle his Lao Wen to him. It hurts to love someone this much, but he welcomes the ache. He has never felt more alive.]

We'll...find a way. I'm ready to look and learn. This world has to have some answer.
